Thank you so much for this information, Jesse! In January, I was doing web content writing for a training company while visiting New Zealand. I loved working while abroad, and I always wanted to figure out a way to build a truly portable writing business. Copywriting just might be the answer! I will definitely be looking up those books that you recommended. Thanks again.
Wow. Your story is mine exactly. Good for you man. Uni is overrated unless you go for hard sciences. Just a money grab really.
If you are interested there was a fascinating book I read on the growing prevalence of "learning disabilities" in young males in the western world: "Boys adrift" by Leonard Sax M.D., Ph.D.
i just mention it because you clearly don't have one if you were able to teach yourself what you needed to know to get where you want to be.

If one can't find encouragement in that, they can't find it anywhere. Looks like success is the greatest revenge after all!
