In this step of the copywriting tutorial we’re going to explain how you can present your credentials so your reader will trust what you’re saying in your sales letter.

The reader has likely read other sales letters before, maybe even purchased information products like the one you’re selling. And they’ve probably been let down by the low quality of the offering and feeling like they’ve gotten ripped off.

So it’s in this section that you need to make them relax and establish authority. Tell them your credentials and why they should trust you. Trust and authority are super important when it comes to marketing, copywriting, and direct sales. In fact, it’s possible that there’s nothing more important than getting the reader to trust you.

If the reader believes that your offering will solve their problem, then they will trade their money for it. If not, then they won’t. It’s that simple.
