In this video we’re going to talk about something that you may not be able to include in your sales letter right now: testimonials and social proof.

It’s highly possible that you don’t have any customers yet, that nobody has bought anything through your sales funnel, and that you haven’t made any money with your sales letter yet.

In that case, you have a few options.

The first option is to skip this section and hope for the best. The customer doesn’t always need to see testimonials in order to make a purchase, so it might not matter. And unfortunately for this copywriting tutorial, that’s what I decided to do.

Or, if you’re feeling a little devious, you can add some fake testimonials in there. This isn’t recommended UNLESS you’re 100% positive that the offering you’re promoting in your funnel can give the results you are claiming that it can.

Finally, you can give away review copies in exchange for a testimonial. That’s generally the best option if you don’t have any yet, but not always possible.
