In this section of the copywriting tutorial we’re going to talk about how you need to give a guarantee. Yes, I know it sucks to think that after all the hard work we went through writing the sales letter, designing the sales funnel, crafting the offer and getting the customer to buy, you might have to give their money back. But that’s just the nature of the game.

Refunds happen. Nothing you can do about it.

But you know why that doesn’t matter? Because most people aren’t going to ask for one anyway. And the ones who do will probably never be satisfied with what you do anyway.

That being the case, the argument that I make in this copywriting tutorial is that just by writing that they CAN ask for a refund is enough to make them relax enough to make the purchase. Buying things is a scary thing. We have to pull out our credit card, type in little numbers, and then click Buy Now.

That’s a lot of work for people who are essentially lazy. Even after your amazing sales letter. So make it easy for them by adding in a guarantee section.
