Lucky for those who live in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, they make money by taking surveys. The process for signing up to paid-survey sites is similar to all as that of outside these aforementioned countries. However, the opportunity of receiving survey invites is higher in the prosperous countries than that of the Third World.
This is just based on my observation on making money by taking surveys, anyway, after trying to make money blogging. I signed up to a few legit free survey sites and got one invite via my email account so far. As I read through threads, most accounts of happy subscribers came from certain countries. They show proofs of multiple payments from different companies. Checks were mailed to them. However, one thing that is attractive to international survey sites is payment can be made through paypal. But again its easy payment scheme is useless if you have not enough surveys to work on, to make money online.
Beware of other sites, though, which are asking for payment for registration. You make money by taking surveys not the other way around. Online jobs can be enticing and exciting but you have to consider internet fraud and other online jobs that are simply nothing but scam to rip off your plastic and waste your precious time.
